| | i'm digging this album. my brother turned me on to them, so props to him.
istanbul is quite nice. lots of people (rather fine looking people, i may add), old buildings (duh), hills, old cobblestone (i think) streets, stray cats, rugs, belly dancer outfits, really freaking strong coffee, and mosques (again, duh). i'll post pictures once i take some and have time to.
since we're working for fed ex, i knew there would be some memphians on the trip. i asked if they were familiar with union, and it turns out that couple of them got their MBAs through the germantown campus. so that's cool. i was disappointed to find that they've never eaten at texas de brazil though. psh.
yesterday was a long hard day of scouting, but it went very very well. they looked at the pictures joe snapped yesterday and absolutely loved what they saw. this is very good.
today is a day off, so i've been chilling in my room all morning. there's nothing good on tv. i'm going out with joe this afternoon to re-scout a location so he can get a better idea of what he needs to do when we shoot.
we have two shoot days here, then we're off to berlin.
